Maxim Vengerov (violin) and his Students

Budapest Spring Festival - While keeping a busy schedule as a soloist and conductor, globetrotting violinist Maxim Vengerov also finds the time to promote and educate young talents

He not only offers master classes and sits in on the juries of musical competitions, but also serves, with passion and dedication, future generations of musicians as an ambassador and guest professor of the International Menuhin Academy, and since 2012, as a teacher of the Royal Academy of Music.

As an educator, his models are Mstislav Rostropovich and Daniel Barenboim, who provided him with instrumental support at the start of his own career. The featured guests of his Budapest concert include Aysen, Özcan and Birsen Ulucan, who in recent years have performed with such illustrious orchestras as the English Chamber Orchestra, the Amsterdam Sinfonietta and the Philharmonia Orchestra London, and have also been the chamber music partners of Mstislav Rostropovich and Fazıl Say
